More outreach opportunities will arise, but from the start Genesis will take money we raise and play a part in helping those in our community and around the world. When you give to help Genesis, you are giving to help others as well.

localOur most influential relationships are established within our own communities. It is crucial that we understand and “own” this mentality as we join TOGETHER to love and serve our local community. As we get to know those around us more we find people everywhere are hurting and in need of help. Genesis Church, with other churches and organizations, will continually put forth time, effort and finances to meet these needs whenever possible. Opportunities Kicks 4 Kidz (giving shoes to charities and organizations in need) Avalon Park (various events: cleaning, 4th of July, Spooktacular, etc.) OutGiven (giving what we have to sacrifice for others in our community) Ignite Week (1 exciting week every summer for the kids in our community) |
globalJesus commanded us to take his message to the ends of the Earth. Genesis Church, along with a network of other churches, will be playing our part in a country called Burkina Faso, Africa. Working with, and through the local church we hope to use our abilities, resources, and people to engage in helping change the domains of a society. We will be strategically working with the church, a local school, building water wells and helping build and plant churches for an unreached people group known as the Pou-Gou-li people. People in Need - 1 out of 3.4 children do not make it to age 10 - 3,000 kids die a day from malaria - 1 meal a day makes you “middl class” - Most illnesses come from no clean drinking water How We Will Help Water (1 clean water well provides for 500 – 1,000 in a village) Church Planting (a church in a village becomes the center of influence) Adoption (help educate, feed, & provide for those less fortunate) |
