We are excited to introduce our groups here at Genesis! However, they might look a bit different from what you’re used to. We call them “Initiatives”, because they do just that. They are created to initiate you to learn, become healthier and live life with others in the process. The great thing about “initiatives” is that you have to play a part and initiate in it as well for it to work. They don’t last all year, but provide moments for you to navigate in and out of opportunities for all these things to happen.

James: Mercy Triumphs– by Beth Moore – in-depth women’s Bible study.James, Jesus’ own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book.
Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer. 8 video sessions with 7 weeks of print study.
Presence: Overwhelmed by God - College/Young Adult Study A group for college students and young adults. We will meet on Monday nights from 7 – 9, starting February 20th. We are doing a 6-week DVD series by JD Greear, entitled Presence: Overwhelmed by God.
