Do you ask “Why Give”? “Why to the Church?” “How much?” Giving is a very sensitive subject for many people when it comes to church. Many have been burned by giving of their finances, they have lost trust in the Church and it’s leaders, and now live reactionary because of their past experiences. Their past encounters have left them with a misunderstanding and a lost opportunity to worship. This isn’t healthy and we don’t want to be reactionary Christians. Instead we want to be healthy, faithful, followers of Jesus. So we are not afraid to talk about giving. Our heart at Genesis Church is to help educate you on what it means to give biblically. To help you release your baggage so that you can experience the full measure of worship that giving brings. It is very hard to read the Bible and not encounter what it means to give. Giving is obedience, an act of worship, a command of God and an expression that tells the Creator of the world… I trust you.
