LEAD PASTOR - Oversees: Teaching, Staff, Intentional Living Strategy
Tim graduated from Liberty University, where he met his wife Tandy. Not too long after, Tim and Tandy were married, pregnant and moving to Georgia. It was in Georgia that Tim worked for West Ridge Church as their Middle School Pastor for 7 years. He then served as their College/Young Adult Pastor for 2 years. It was during this time that Tim could not deny God’s leading any longer.
Though from Virginia, Tim spent much of his time throughout his life in the Orlando area, and God had placed a burden on Tim’s heart for the community of Orlando. Tim and his family (Tandy, Cobe & Cayden) moved to Orlando in 2009 to pursue an obedient, yet unexpected, calling to build a community united in loving God and living that out on a daily basis. |

PASTOR - Oversees: Music, Sunday Services, Media & Arts
Jason graduated from New Orleans Theological Seminary which had a campus in Georgia, where he grew up and also met his wife, Rachel. Jason has lead music and served in many areas of the church for the past 10 years. It was at his home church, West Ridge, that he met and served with Tim.
Jason and his wife developed a heart for the Orlando area after a few trips to visit friends. They quickly saw the same need for a community united to love God and love others. |

PASTOR - Oversees: Discipleship Strategies, Volunteer Implementation
Jim graduated in 2005 from Shorter College in Rome, GA with a degree in Christian Ministry Studies. It was around that time when he and Tim became good friends, realizing they shared common interest and vision about God, His Word, and the world. After working with Tim at West Ridge as a volunteer, Jim, and his wife Katie, didn’t take long to accept the invitation to come to Orlando and be on the Genesis team. Jim’s biggest passion is in the area of discipleship and helping people come to a better understanding of who God is through Scripture.
Jim married his wife, Katie, in 1999 and they have 2 children: Sophie and Jack. |

PASTOR - Oversees: KIDgenesis & genesis JUNIOR (Nursery, Preschool, Elementary)
Joel graduated from Liberty University, in Lynchburg, VA, where he met his wife, Holly. Joel has lead and served in many areas of student/children ministry over the last 8 years. Growing up in VA, Joel was a student in the youth group Tim first interned with.
In late Spring of 2009, Joel and his wife felt that God was beginning to stir something up in their lives. After a vacation to celebrate their Anniversary in Orlando, Joel and Holly knew that God was creating a passion in them to join Genesis in reaching families and community of Orlando. |
